When Emily Sugihara and her mother Joan stitched together the first Baggu prototype at home a decade ago, they may not have realised that they were truly onto something.
The original design of the Baggu bag was based on a simple plastic grocery bag and came in eight bright colours. These days, BAGGU is a design driven manufacturer of bags and accessories, known for their clean designs, pop colours, and prints.
The company is now dedicated to providing cool bags that can be reused to reduce waste by replacing the very same plastic shopping bags their original design was based on. A great entrepenurial design story that encompasses sustainable practices. Emily has all the boxes ticked!
